3 c. all purpose flour 1 c. oil
1 t baking soda 3 tsp vanilla extract
1 t salt 2 eggs
1 t. cinnamon 2 c. pears, peeled and chopped (can use apples)
1 c chopped walnuts
1-1/2 c sugar
combine flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon in a large bowl; stir in walnuts and set aside. combine sugar, oil, vanilla and eggs in a medium bowl; stir in pears, then add to flour mixture and stir just until moistened (batter will be thick). Spoon batter evenly into a greased 10″ tube pan. bake for one hour at 325 degrees until a toothpick comes out clean. cool in pan and remove from pan.
