Share Your Spring Thyme Recipe and Style – Blog Hop

When I saw this cutey pop out of the ground – I smiled and realized how glad I was I endured a few cold days back in January to plant a bunch of tulip bulbs that I caught on sale at Lowes’.  I actually had forgotten where and how many I planted, but eventually they  realized it was safe to come out and they all started popping up lol…. Yayyyyy!!    SPRING IS HERE!!!

I think I’ll get more to fill in the bed under this huge magnolia tree.  Now that we are officially in the season, me and my fellow bloggers are back for our second segment of “Share Your Spring Thyme Recipe and Style.  I hope you enjoyed last week’s blog hop and  thank you for visiting me from the lovely Lisa of ClutterCafe.  If you’re  new here – Welcome – I hope you find your visit quite pleasing leaving you inspired, and if you’re already a follower – hey-hey-hey – welcome back.  Since I see the beauty popping out of the ground, I decided to begin sprucing things up on my front porch.

It started when I found this “whatever thingy” for $1.00 and decided to use it for a door hanging.  I don’t know what it is or for, but I figured I could make it work.

\

I gave it a quick spray paint and added some faux flowers to create a door hanging.  I roughed it a bit for a shabby chic effect

I’m a die-hard Game of Thrones fan and when I spotted “the Hound” – armoured man- a few months ago, I had to get him.  I decided to add him to the porch decor -(my imaginary knight’s watch – giggles)

I used the chandelier from the Foyer to add on the front porch

I bought the outdoor rug last year during the “end of summer” sale at World Market. I’m glad chose not to use it back then because now I have a new rug.

The rockers are holding up very well

Inside, I just added a couple of new green babies and moved some things around (I shopped my home for this Spring Style)

The buddah-cat came in from the Rest Haven

I moved my plants around – a couple went on the porch, to open the foyer.  When I added the lamps to the Living Room I moved the plants and they were a bit bunched so a couple went on the porch to open the space again.

I had a few extra faux hydrangeas so I added them to an indoor plant to create the illusion of my favorite southern plant

I hope you enjoyed my Spring Thyme Style and for more inspiration – hop over to  the wonderful Gwynn’s Swirls of Flavor to continue the fun.  I want to thank Tamyra of PositivelySouthern for hosting this exciting blog hop.
