In using the lyrics of the song “What’s Up” by 4 Non Blondes.. “WHAT’S GOING ON!!!!!”   I don’t understand why thrift stores think they should raise their prices to compete with online shopping prices, but things are getting out of hand.. and the thrill of the hunt is starting to fade away.  I just have to say I’m glad I got when the getting was good.  Popped into a Restore Habitat and my head was swimming with the ridiculousness of the prices.. In my latest video, I share exactly what I’m talking about.

Just know that I do understand profits must be made to keep the doors open, but it’s getting pretty shameful out there.  Thrift stores inventory is donated, while antique shops and boutiques have to purchase inventory to stock their shelves so i understand those prices.  Even estate sales are offering better prices, because they want to sell the content for the family without having it going to the landfills or thrift stores.  To shop estate sales in your area.. log  onto estatesales.net or estatesales.com enter your zip code and mile radius you’d like to travel.. New sales are posted every week and the best part, you get to view the pictures online and decide which sale suits you better to go to.. can’t get any easier than that.  So, I’m going to be hitting more estate sales instead of thrift stores and sharing what I find.  Hope you enjoy the video and drop me a comment.
