As I always mention, breakfast is my favorite meal and come weekends I enjoy a deliciously cooked breakfast. This past weekend I decided to make a quiche, that way I could enjoy breakfast for a couple more days. This recipe is a delicious and nutritious go-to breakfast (and sometimes dinner) dish not to mention super-duper easy. So let’s get started and make quiche! For this recipe you’ll need:
4 lrge eggs
1 cup heavy cream
half bag of fresh spinach
1 small chopped onion
1 tbspn spicy garlic seasoning
1 medium clove of garlic (minced)
1 tspn black pepper
1 cup Pepper Jack cheese (Monterrey Jack or Swiss)
2 tbspn olive oil
1 tbspn butter
1 ready-made pie crust
In a medium sauce pan, add olive and butter. Once butter is melted add onions. Saute onion until they are well cooked, add spinach and minced garlic and continue to saute until spinach is wilted, next sprinkle with spicy garlic seasoning.
Spread mixture into pie shell.
In mixing bowl beat eggs until light and fluffy, add heavy cream and black pepper. Beat until blended and pour into a pie shell. Sprinkle top with cheese and bake at 350 for approximately 40 mins or until firm.
Let rest approximately 5 mins before cutting.

Spinach and Onion Quiche
This is a quick and delicious savory quiche that is made of a custard filling blended with sauteed fresh spinach and onions and topped with cheese,
- 4 large eggs
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 bag fresh spinach
- 1 small chopped onion
- 1/2 tsp spicy garlic seasoning optional
- 1 medium clove of garlic minced
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 cup Pepper Jack Cheese Monterrey Jack or Swiss
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 pie crust
