Saturday Thriftscapades

It’s Saturday and I’ve decided to take a small hiatus from thrifting.. (I know – insert thermometer – lol)..noooo I’m not sick, but on the contrare, I have to prepare for the yard sale our town is having.  I have so much to catch you up on.  If you’ve been following me on Instagram or Facebook, I’ve been posting a few finds.  But guys, truthfully speaking, I didn’t scratch the surface of what I was seeing out there in my travels.  From hitting the local Goodwills, thrift stores and ReStore Habitats, it’s just so much out there.  Since I have a lot of catching up to do, I won’t show all in one post (thrift overload), so I’ll break it up in a series of three (3).  I’m not even going to do a bunch of yappin’, because I just want you to feast your eyes on the finds..  So, let’s go thrifting!  Starting with this table set I found in an Atlanta Goodwill for $80.00.  Very nice right???- perfect for a sunroom.

In ReStore Habitat, they were having their usual Saturday Sofa Sale and they had this Drexel Heritage curved back sofa.  It was $75.00 after the discount

This huge dining all glass vintage table was $115.00 after the discount.  I was so close to bringing it home, because I’ve been wanting to change out my table, but once I attempted to lift the glass piece and realized how extremely heavy it was, my brother (standing in the background) kindly reminded me.. “who are you going to get to lift it?”  yea.. it’s that heavy.. So I did the next best thing.. I posted it on Facebook in hopes some lucky person I know could use it, and guess what.. there was one.. Someone hit me up and asked where was it.. she drove 1 & 1/2 hrs to go get it.  She had been looking for a glass dining table and it was perfect.  I was extremely happy that I was able to provide that information.

Saw this oval coffee table for $32.00.

Printer workstation was $25.00

Another botanical print for $9.00

Vintage brass shell toe side table was $18.00

Another loveseat found at Goodwill for $45.00

Very nice china cabinet and again.. another sofa

Decorative rugs were half off.  This big mint green rug (95×118) was $50.00

Wrought iron and glass round cofffee table was $30.00

Cooper etagere with brass accent corners was $35.00 (it included the glass shelves)

The bar stool was $36.00 (still has the original store price tag on it) – I’ve seen similar ones at At Home for $130

This thrift store had a mega sale – half off the furniture and I spotted this one for $37.50

I don’t want to overload you in one post, but there’s more to show.. I did make a few purchases along the way, so I’ll be showing you what I bought and how I styled it,  So stay tune for the next episode of “Saturday Thrift Scores”  as always.. Happy hunting while you thrift your house into a home!

CIAO!!!
