So what was I up to this past weekend? I was actually doing my first cooking presentation/punch bowl social. Yes, your girl went live in front of a group of lovely young ladies to demonstrate how you can cook a healthy scrumptious meal in 30 mins. What started out as a jokingly suggestion by a co-worker/friend turned into a memorable event. Semone is the founder of S.A.W Ministries (Saved Anointed Women) and thought it would be a good idea to show some of the women how to cook healthy meals that are quick and easy. In came “TLC” and the Punch Bowl Social.
For the event I made Shrimp Quesadillas, Creamy Chicken Alfredo along with a mixed green salad with poppy seed dressing and of course Punch.
I have to admit I was very nervous but looking out to the comforting smiles and happy faces, they made it easy for me to calm my nervousness. For the event, in addition to getting a light lunch, the attendees were given health & wellness information.
Semone gave me such a warm introduction so it helped break the ice for me.. Again, I’m the nervous kind in front of a crowd.
But when the cooking festivity began, that’s when I felt extremely comfortable..
After having Semone as my assistant, I told her she looks like she’s enjoying cooking. Of course she disagrees, because she “claims” she doesn’t cook…

I wasn’t able to get many pictures taken, but all in all the event was a success and everyone left with smiling faces and full tummies. I’d like to thank Semone for giving me the opportunity to showcase my cooking skills and for a lovely Saturday afternoon. Also, if you’d like to order any of the Victoria seasonings, you can go online to www.vgourmet.com to place your order and as a token of their appreciation, they’re giving the attendees and my readers a 30% discount off your entire order. Just use promo code “TWINSLUV” at the checkout to receive your discount. You have to act fast because the offer is only good until February 28.
So place your order and enjoy cooking with “TLC”!
Looks very professional to me and you gave it the TLC. Kudos!
Well, just go on with your bad self looking all cute dressed in Ninja black!!! What a great idea. I’m sure the attendees had a great time to match their swollen bellies and cache of ideas!!!
What a lovely idea. You have wonderful recipes that are simple and look so delicious. Thanks for sharing
I really appreciate you giving of yourself to us on Saturday. I had an awesome time and learned some new things. God bless you and your family.
Thank you Sylvia! I’m glad you enjoyed it.. It was a fun experience and I hope to do it again.. Don’t forget to order your spices 😉
