Home with Belvedere

I was supplied  products for this post by Belvedere Home Goods. While this is a sponsored post, all content and opinions expressed here are my own.

As the holiday season approaches, we’re all getting our homes ready for family and friends to come visit. For these joyous occasions I always try to get a jump start on cleaning my home so I can dedicate all my time to cooking as the days get nearer.  This year I’ll have a full house, so you know what that means.. lots of cooking, laundry and fun.   Sounds busy, but it’s so worth it.  Having the family together for joyful times is what life is all about.  Other than the wonderful aroma of the yummy vittles I’ll be serving, I also love having candles around to add to the ambiance and other delightful aromas around the house.  Being the candle lover that I am, I was more than happy when Belvedere Home Goods offered me the opportunity to test their candles.   Ever heard of Belvedere Home Goods?   Well, they are a small group of ecommerce experts who have been selling online for over 20 years and are committed to bringing you the best quality, best value home goods for your home. When the package arrived, I was truly pleased to see the artsy design of candle tins.   The box contains four tins with each having a different style and heavenly smell (orange, lavendar, rose and ocean).

See how pretty the lids are, well they look even prettier in my home decor.  The romantic scent, Rose, landed in the bedroom on my bed side table (this girl loves the smell of roses by her bed).

Once lit, I could smell the softness of the scent as it began to fill the air.  I have to honestly say, if you’re one who loves strong aromas, these are not for you.  These candles are very soft scented and are crafted using 100% naturally biodegradable and eco-friendly, pure soy wax which means they burn evenly – (side note:  I hate candles that burn down the middle leaving a deep hole around hard wax..uggghhhh).

The living room has the Ocean candle. Why?  Because the color of the tin blends with the colors in this room

Of course the newly decorated office had to get one.. and Lavendar is the perfect scent for me to indulge in while working in here.

and knock-knock – orange you waiting for the guests to come??  heeeheheee.. Yes, Orange is in the guest room waiting to be lit.

Once they all burn away, the tins are easy to clean and I can re-use them for other items in my home in a stylish way.  Also, the company sent a coupon for 25% off my next order, which you will get in your order as well (we all love a discount – right!).   In addition to the candles, they sent this heavy duty 100% COTTON ROPE, ECO-FRIENDLY – laundry basket.  It’s perfect to gather the loads of laundry that will be waiting for me to do… (no fun there).  Thankfully the basket has sturdy leather handles to make it easy to carry and move around because several trips will be made to the washer for sure.

Being it’s so stylish, I’ll put it out in the room for easy access.  Its neutral pattern and contemporary style doesn’t clash with the decor or scream “ugly laundry basket”.

But once they’re gone… guess what… this basket is going double duty!  You know where I’m going with it right???  If you guessed a plant basket – ding, ding, ding, ding, – YOU’RE RIGHT!!

See how stylish it looks holding my FLF!  Again, without clashing with the decor (we’re talking versatility!).

It’s a win-win look and guess what guys?  Because they were so gracious at giving me a chance to try their products, they’re giving my readers a chance to win the same thing!  How cool is that!! Yes!! One lucky reader will win this basket for you to use in your home (however you please) or give as a gift.  It’s so simple to enter.. just go here and enter your name and email address (your email is safe, secure and will not be shared).  Also, feel free to share this give-away with your friends or tag someone on @belvederehomegoods on Instagram to enter the contest.  The contest will run for two weeks (open to US residents only) and the lucky winner will be notified.  Be sure to like and subscribe to their Facebook channel.
