Having a graduation party, birthday party or how about a “Yay! It’s Summer” event- then these will be a crowd pleasing appetizer
I served them for my niece’s birthday party and the teenagers loved them! Not to mention, the adults were upstairs munching away on them.
Add shredded chicken, green onions, spices, cheese and sauce in mixing bowl and blend. Using your finger, wet the edges of the wrapper. Scoop a small amount in the center of each wrapper, fold corner edge into a triangle and press together to seal the edges.
Place each in heated oil and deep fry. You can fry approximately 5-6 at a time. Serve hot with a blue cheese or ranch dressing (if desired)
Buffalo Chicken WonTons
These tasty appetizers are like eating buffalo chicken wings without the mess.
- 5 cups shredded pre-cooked chicken (white meat) your favorite rotisserie chicken is best
- 1 1/4 cups buffalo wing hot sause add more if needed
- 3 green onions chopped
- 1 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tbspn Spicy Garlic Seasoning
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella chese you can substitute for your favorite cheese
- 1 pk Wonton wrappers
Instructions

Add chicken, green onions,garlic powder,seasonings, cheese and sauce in mixing bowl. Stir until well blended. Take each wrapper and wet edges with water. Place a teaspoon amount in the center of wrapper and fold over and press edges together to seal. Place filled Wontons in heated olive oil and cook until browned. Place on draining dish and server hot.
