Hey Guys!!  Welcome back to week #2 of the Fall 2019 One Room Challenge (ORC) update and thank you for following along.  This has been a slow moving week for me, but I finally got everything cleared out of the office and have a pretty much clean slate.  I was shocked how much stuff I actually accumulated in this tiny room.

To get the new computer in, I had to remove a shelf and I need to remove another shelf at the bottom area for leg space.   After that, comes painting (did I mention how much I hate painting).. ugghhh.. but since everything is white – it should be fairly easy.

I’ve always liked the cheetah stencil and wanted to try it in this room.  All the walls will be white and I’ll try my luck at the cheetah stencil and on the shelves I’ll be using the marble contact paper.  The corner shelving is what I’m wanting in the space (either that or just straight shelves on the back wall).  For lighting I’m re-using the black chandelier and the pull-out tray that once accommodated the laptop perfectly will house the keyboard with a new computer sitting on the shelf.  I’ll need to sit higher, so a bar stool will be needed.  My finishing touch will be the cool piece of trendy artwork.  I created the board to give you an idea of where I’m headed with the look.  I’m keeping things extremely simple and sticking to my small budget – so wish me luck.  If you’re new here, the ORC was started by design blogger, Linda Weinstein of Calling It Home blog.  She had the idea of pulling together a group of bloggers to decorate a room over a six-week period.  Each blogger shared the progress of their room design and on the final week of the challenge the completed spaces were revealed.
